US Gov NationalMap (JJediny Fork)

A US Government fork of TerriaMap — a web map built on TerriaJS for map-based access to US federal open data from agencies including USGS, NOAA, BLM, FEMA, NPS, EPA, and more.

This fork is designed to:

• Provide easy access to US federal spatial data via ArcGIS REST, WMS, and GeoJSON services
• Consolidate catalog sources from Data.gov, USGS, NOAA, BLM, FEMA, NPS, and other agencies
• Track upstream TerriaJS/TerriaMap for framework updates

Note (2026-06): TerriaJS and TerriaMap are merging into a monorepo. Future upstream pulls should track TerriaJS/terriajs directly.

NationalMap is powered by TerriaJS (currently v8.2.17), a free, open source geospatial catalog viewer.

Want to make your own Terria Map?

Please don’t clone this repo. Instead, start your map from https://github.com/TerriaJS/TerriaMap, which is maintained as a starting point for third-party maps, without NationalMap branding.
